I have a 3-week-internship at Lütze in the Marketing Department. My main job is to translate the company’s product video tutorials from English to Chinese so that these can be used in China for marketing too. Basically, I have to first write down the English subtitles and then translate them into Chinese. Sometimes there are problems, such as the voice in the original video not being clear and also the specific technical language.

Packing gifts for the Customers, Field Sales and Subsidiaries of the company is also required. I also helped to send out the invoices one day which made clear all of the other important cooperating subsidiaries of the company.

After finishing my tasks, I also help with other, more creative work. For example, I made a poster which has been posted on the comany’s social media to wish the best for the Chinese New Year.

Generally, my work experience has changed my view of marketing. Marketing includes a lot of different things, it is definitely far more complicated than I thought. I really appreciate my colleagues who are always warm-hearted and helpful, especially my boss.

Three weeks are short, but I have learned a lot. Thanks again to Lütze for providing me with my internship!
